Walk with Anita in the 4th of July Parade!

Walk with Councilmember Anita Bonds in the 51st Annual Palisades 4th of July Parade!  

It’s a tradition not to be missed! Join At-Large Councilmember Anita Bonds at 10:30AM on Tuesday, July 4th for the 51st Annual Palisades Parade & Picnic!

Parade line-up begins on Whitehaven Parkway at 10:00am.The Parkway is in between Our Lady of Victory School (4835 MacArthur Blvd, NW) and Engine Company 29 (4811 MacArthur Blvd. NW). Please enter Whitehaven Pkwy via Foxhall Rd.

Visit WMATA Trip planner for public transportation options. The nearest metro station is Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan. The nearest Bus Stop is D5.

The parade starts moving at 11:00am sharp!

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Water and energy snacks provided.

The 51st Annual Palisades Parade, sponsored by the Palisades Citizens’ Association, goes from Whitehaven Pkwy, down MacArthur, takes a left on Edmunds, a left on Sherier and ends at the Palisades Recreation Center with a picnic with food, games and refreshments for all.
