Putting People First: The 2015-2017 Activity Report
Councilmember Bonds is pleased to share the “good news” about her progress on behalf of the residents of the District of Columbia.
Over the last three years, she has passed significant legislation to better the lives of all District residents. As Chair of the Committee on Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization, the Councilmember has increased access to affordable housing, provided greater opportunities for homeownership, and advocated for the rights of tenants and long-term residents alike.
Additionally, Councilmember Bonds has championed policies that have made our neighborhoods a safer place to live, increased equity in our public school system, and tackled the issues facing our seniors each day.
“Putting People First”, our 2015-2017 Activity Report, is the just the beginning. Councilmember Bonds is excited to continue advocating for a better District of Columbia for all.
